  • 1 yeast cake
  • 3 T. luke warm water
  • 1 t. salt
  • 6 c. flour
  • 2⅓ c. luke warm water
  • olive oil


  • Soften yeast cake in 3 T. water. Doissove salt in the 2⅓ c. water. Gradually add both mixtures to flour; blend thoroughly.
  • Oil dough and cover. Let rise until double in bulk.
  • Oil hands; put dough into large shallow baking pans. Indent with finger tips; brush well with oil.
  • Let rise for 1 hour. Arrange toppings. Bake in 400° for 20-25 minutes.
