Basic Plain Scones

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 6 tbsp butter cubed
- 1 egg
- ½ cup buttermilk
Instructions
- In a food processor with blade attachment mix the dry ingredient and the butter till the butter is incorporated but still chunky
- Add the Egg and the buttermilk, till slightly moist
- Take the dough out and knead with some flour for about 5 minutes
- Divide dough in half; pat each portion into a 5- inch circle. Cut each circle into 6 wedges
- Separate wedges and place 1 in apart on a baking sheet
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown
