Amish Friendship Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 c. starter
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • ½ t. salt
  • 2 t. cinnamon
  • 2 c. flour
  • ½ t. salt
  • 1 ¼ t. baking powder
  • c. oil
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

  • Mix; stir; add 2 cups of chopped apples or candied fruit, raisins, nuts, bananas, or blueberries.
  • Pour into 2 loaf pans, greased with margarine and sprinkled with sugar.
  • Bake 40-50 minutes at 350°; cool for 10 minutes and remove from pans.
